Costumed in a classic double denim ensemble, she’s diving into the nostalgic 90s fashion for her new film role in ‘Famous’, co-starring Zac Efron.
The 29-year-old English actress is relishing her deep-dive into the bygone era’s fashion trends and the nostalgic journey that incites. Famous, the 90s thriller set in the same decade, is based on Blake Crouchโs eponymous novel โ the author also known for ‘Dark Matter’.
During a recent interview with PORTER, NET-A-PORTER’s digital magazine, Dynevor revealed, โIโm listening to so much ’90s music, which is fun. And the clothes are so cool.
“Iโm wearing these low-waisted jeans that sit practically underneath my hip bone. I understand now why everyone had those butterfly tattoos on their lower backs.”
Diving deeper into her thoughts, she added, โIt’s crucial to look back, watch old movies, listen to old music and keep expanding your view of the world.”
The film features Zac Efron, the former Disney channel star, in dual roles, portraying Hollywood heartthrob James Jansen and fan Lance Dunkquist. The primary plot follows Lance Dunkquist, a man with the face of a movie star. Not just any movie star โ Lance has been mistaken for Hollywood star James Jansen 228 times. Now, Lance is on his way to LA to make his dream come true, no matter what it takes, according to the IMDB synopsis.
Last September, it was announced that Bridgerton star Phoebe had joined the cast. Born to ‘Coronation Street’ star, Sally Dynevor, Phoebe became a household name in December 2020 when she starred in Bridgerton’s premier season. She had a relatively smaller role in the second season and did not appear in the third, which she and countless fans lamented.
Recently, Dynevor started filming a new $30 million shark-thriller blockbuster in Melbourne over the summer.
