A blonde was summoned to court to appear as a witness in a lawsuit.
The prosecutor opened his questioning with,
โWhere were you the night of August 24th?โ
โObjection!
โ said the defense attorney.
โIrrelevant!
โ
โOh, thatโs okay,โ said the blonde from the witness stand.
โI donโt mind answering the question.โ
โI object!
โ the defense said again.
โNo, really,โ said the blonde.
โIโll answer.โ
The judge ruled:
โIf the witness insists on answering, there is no reason for the defense to object.โ
So the prosecutor repeated the question:
โWhere were you the night of August 24th?โ
The blonde replied brightly,
โI donโt know!
