Renowned for her sultry Instagram snapshots, Dua Lipa keeps the temperature high, flaunting a set of pictures from her Future Nostalgia Tour’s backstage last Friday. Without a bra underneath her skin-tight red top, the singer sends pulses racing.
At her vibrant best, the 26-year-old strikes splendid poses against a graffiti-laden wall. The candid pictures depict a backstage scene that perfectly mirrors her sartorial flair.
In her race to set the stage on fire, Lipa chooses a bra-less look beneath a red racerback top. She complements it expertly with her low-riding jeans, thus setting a fashion statement. The outfit reveals skin through the hip cutouts and avows her svelte figure.
Pairing her ensemble with a baseball cap, she wraps a red and brown patterned scarf underneath her chin, adding a touch of glamour. The hat and scarf combination works wonders, paired with the casual and chic outfit.
Adding a pop of color, Lipa sports yellow-tinted sunglasses. Her raven locks fluidly flowing down her back adds to her overall appeal. Fans, having their praises heard in the comments, received a sassy caption for the set of sizzling snaps: โbackstage nonnaโ.
Her Future Nostalgia Tour, due for her second studio album, has seen multiple postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, finally kickstarted in Florida last month. The tour culminates in November in Perth, Australia.
The album, Future Nostalgia, won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album in March 2021. The lead single, “Don’t Start Now,” continues to receive accolades, including Grammy nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance. The tour enlists Ceremony London for production, Live Nation for promotion, and Truly Hard Seltzer for sponsorship. Further, Megan Thee Stallion, Griff, Tove Lo, and Angรจle will grace the stage as supporting acts.
Recently, Lipa found herself amidst a controversy, with a report alleging her for plagiarizing her hit song “Levitating.” Artikal Sound System, an underground band, stakes claim on Lipa’s 2020 mega-hit due to uncanny similarities with their 2017 reggae single, “Live Your Life.”
The controversy speculates that Lipa may have heard Artikal Sound Systemโs song and drew heavily from it for Levitating. With noticeable resemblances in the two songs, especially the choruses, the lawsuit gains grounds.
The band has also implicated Lipa’s label, Warner Records, and several associated entities in their claim. They demand profits made on the song in addition to damages.
