Steph Claire Smith is the latest influencer to be drawn to the golden sands of Noosa, a beloved retreat for Australian luminaries.
The 30-year-old fitness influencer, who is pregnant, warmed herself and her blossoming baby bump on the sun-kissed beach over the weekend. She took to Instagram to share her experience, simply captioning her selfie, โI can see why everyone loves it here.โ
Noosa is the setting of choice for Smith and her husband Josh Miller as they navigate their blissful ‘babymoon’. Fresh from rebuffing societal expectations to have more children in an interview with Stellar Magazine, Smith chose to relax on the main Noosa beach in a new bikini, while contently cradling her baby bump.
Donned in a pair of black thongs, a new Kapri bikini, and a crochet miniskirt cover-up, Steph gave her followers a glimpse into her beach outing. Clicking a photograph from her neck down, she showcased how her burgeoning bump has changed her perspective – she now has to look over her belly to see her toes.
The expectant mother chose a playful, green-and-white bikini adorned with cartoon peaches for the day โ an outfit that she complemented with a straw sunhat and black sunglasses. As a humorous remark to her changing figure, she captioned a photo, โLuckily Iโm fitting into Joshโs pants at the moment.’
Celebrating the weekend in style, the couple spent their time lazing on the beach, indulging in ice creams, and enjoying lazy naps.
Her husband Josh was seen sporting a resort-like ensemble with a white t-shirt, black-and-white board shorts, a pastel yellow cap, and sunglasses. Draped around his neck was a powder blue and white towel, and he was seen sipping on refreshing juice as Steph treated herself to a chocolate sundae.
Steph, who is expecting her second child, confessed in Stellar that her wellness app, KIC, was her priority for some time after the birth of her son Harvey. She also brought to light the societal expectation to provide her son with a sibling, a pressure she found taxing. She explained, โI wasnโt in a position where I could โ nor did I want to โ just pop [babies] out and [fall pregnant] straight away. I didnโt have that desire.โ
The 30-year-old went on to say that it would have been incredibly difficult to attempt a second child while establishing their business. She voiced, โ[KIC] was my baby for such a long time that it does get priority sometimes over some personal desires.โ The celebrity couple had a series of tough dialogues discussing the โright timeโ to consider a second child.
Reflecting on her first pregnancy, Steph admitted she was naive about how it might affect her business and her relationship with her co-founder. She elaborated, โThere were so many times that we didnโt have some of those honest, important conversations during that process.โ
The expecting mother recently announced her second pregnancy through a slideshow of black and white pictures on Instagram, featuring their three-year-old son Harvey. Following the announcement, she later addressed the backlash she received for bringing Harvey to the gym, insisting that it was a means to endorse a healthy lifestyle.
Alongside the baby news, the magnificent rural home owned by Josh Miller’s family is poised to go on sale. Nestled in Bearii, near the Victoria-NSW border, the estate comes with seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a golf course. Set on a 100-hectare land, it carries a price tag between $8million-$8.8million.
Josh revealed to the Australian Financial Review that the property holds sentimental value โ it’s where he first met Steph. They also got engaged and tied the knot on this very property. This close-knit pair is certain to continue celebrating their growing family in style.
