For Versace’s all-new advertising venture, sensation Gigi Hadid put on a particularly riveting show, showcasing her bold aura while lying on a silk-enveloped bed, her only adornment a pair of stunning heels.
This 21-year-old superstar exhibited an impressive range of poses in various shots for Versace’s new fashion storyline, yet it was her out-and-out nude portrayal that indisputably stole the spotlight.
In the diverse catalogue of images launched today, Gigi is found casually lying amidst a variety of cushions and silky sheets, clutching a Versace purse that flawlessly matches her black heels.
The narrative continues with a shot of her perched up in bed, donning a leather jacket while still firmly gripping the bag.
Considering the caliber of the design, it comes as no surprise that she opts to maintain her tight grasp of it.
This new promotion further tail-feathers a spectacular year for Gigi who proudly became the International Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards conducted at the advent of December.
While accepting the honour on the Royal Albert Hall stage, Gigi expressed her profound love for the “incredible industry” she is part of; she described the recognition as a realized “dream”.
In the press room, Gigi shared delightful moments, posing alongside dressmaker Donatella Versace – her award presenter – and demonstrating her frivolity by affectionately kissing her award while peppering the evening with laughter.
This makes the second occasion within a week where Gigi can be seen in minimal clothing, endorsing high-end fashion labels.
Earlier on Wednesday, Gigi was seen posing in nothing more than a set of glossy Stuart Weitzmann ankle boots as part of the designer’s latest advertising approach.
In a subsequent ad from the same strategy, Gigi embodies a picture of serenity, donning an immaculate white ensemble, topped off with a couple of jewel-studded slip-on trainers, retailing at £398.
However, this stardom hasn’t come without its challenges. The model opened up about her struggle to maintain her thin frame due to Hashimoto’s disease, a thyroid condition.
In a heartfelt interview with Elle Magazine, Gigi was candid about her medical condition. She stated, “I experienced significant fluctuations in my metabolism this year.”
“Hence, for the VS show, I didn’t aim for any more weight loss.” Gigi revealed.
