After a while, One guy looks at the other and says, โI canโt help but think, from listening to you, that youโre from Ireland.โ
The other guy responds proudly, โYes, that I am!
โ
The first guy says, โSo am I!
And where about from Ireland might you be?โ
The other guy answers, โIโm from Dublin, I am.โ
The first guy responds, โSure and begorra, and so am I!
And what street did you live on in Dublin?โ
The other guy says, โA lovely little area it was, I lived on McCleary Street in the old central part of town.โ
The first guy says, โFaith & itโs a small world, so did I!
And to what school would you have been going?โ
The other guy answers, โWell now, I went to St.
Maryโs of course.โ
The first guy gets really excited, and says, โAnd so did I.
Tell me, what year did you graduate?โ
The other guy answers, โWell, now, I graduated in 1964.โ
The first guy exclaims, โThe Good Lord must be smiling down upon us!
I can hardly believe our good luck at winding up in the same bar tonight.
Can you believe it, I graduated from St.
Maryโs in 1964 my own self.โ
About this time, another guy walks into the bar, sits down, and orders a beer.
The bartender walks over shaking his head & mutters, โItโs going to be a long night tonight, the Murphy twins are drunk again.
